On June 22, the Quad Area Chamber of Commerce and the Hugo Area Business Association held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of Encore at Hugo assisted living community’s renovations. The community was supported by local leaders and received a first look at the updates.
“The renovations we have completed will help position Encore at Hugo for continued success in the decades to come,” said Julie Urbas, executive director of the community. “We’re fully committed to investing in Hugo and making our community a place where residents and their families find a sense of security, first-rate amenities, and hospitality to be the cornerstones of their experiences.”
The renovations included every aspect of the community, including new exterior doors, window coverings, wall coverings, artwork, carpet, furniture, and flooring. An open-concept area was also added to provide residents with more space to enjoy additional activities. All three of the community’s patios were also updated with new furniture so residents can continue to enjoy the weather, eat a meal outside and participate in outdoor activities.
Residents continue to enjoy great amenities like the garden patio with raised planters, on-site dining in a social setting, and a calendar filled with daily activities, all in an updated, beautiful community.
